Negaunee, Michigan – September 26, 2018 – Fall is here! It definitely snuck up on my family. We went out to enjoy the beautiful weather had a couple of Sundays ago (80 degrees!), and the very next day it was Fall weather. I whined about it. I complained. But then, Fall actually came (September 22nd was the official day of Fall), and I was ready for it this time!
Pumpkins are on my porch, my son and nephew are thinking about what costumes they’d like for (gasp!) Halloween, and I’m thinking about the pumpkin spice and apple cider. Call me Basic, I don’t care. I’ll be here and happy in my leggings and boots with my sweaters sipping my pumpkin spice latte and smiling as a I pick another pumpkin out!
This is also a time most families are searching for Fall activities to do. I know I am! Here’s a list of some of our local U.P. Fall Family Fun activities you can take your family to do this season:
- Hayes Corn Maze in Rock
- Getzloff Corn Maze in Wilson
- DesRochers Corn Maze in Baraga
- Bonnie’s Farm in Baraga
- Hall Farm in Rock
- Somero Family Farm in Hancock
- Kerridge’s Haunted Pines in Naubinway
- Downtown Negaunee’s Oktoberfest in Negaunee
- Haunted Bog Walk in Marquette
- Haunted Hayride in Marquette
There’s many more places to visit and things to do and see that did not go on this list, simply because I couldn’t find more information on them. However, don’t let that stop you from partaking! If you know of something else in the U.P. that’s worth a visit, please put a link the comments below! I’d appreciate it, and I know other families will, too!
I hope you have the best Forced Family Fun as possible :)
