MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan’s Senior U.S. Senator Carl Levin chatted with Great Lakes Radio’s Walt Lindala this morning about legislation designed to prevent financial debacles like the recent one involving J.P. Morgan.
Senator Levin outlined current law that was designed to close loopholes that allowed those types of financial missteps to occur. He also talked about pressure he and his Senate colleagues are applying to regulators who are charged with keeping large banks and Wall Street investment firms in line.
