MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan’s Senior U.S. Senator Carl Levin joined News Director Walt Lindala recently for an exclusive in-studio interview about key issues facing Upper Michigan and beyond.
The Detroit Democrat stopped in at the SUNNY Studios while on a one-day visit to the region.
Senator Levin took the time to discuss several issues including economic development programs and regional air service in the U.P., as well as the controversial planned closing of local post offices and postal distribution centers.
Senator Levin also discussed recent events involving U.S. military personnel in Afghanistan and the current world climate that has lead to the high price of oil and gas.
