Marquette, MI – October 20, 2026 – State Senator Ed McBroom says he is looking to the post-election legislative session in Lansing to finish up work on measures before his term ends.
McBroom gave an update this week with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
The Dickinson County Republican also talked about the elections and shared his thoughts on how he feels they will finish in both the U.P. and statewide.
McBroom said any work that gets done in the so-called “lame duck” session after the elections will be contingent on what party holds the control of the Governorship and the State House and Senate.
McBroom is term-limited out after this session concludes later this year.
