Marquette, MI – October 8, 2025 – Marquette-Alger RESA is getting the word out across the Upper Peninsula about the connection between between literacy and school attendance with the Every Day Counts campaign.
Young explained that it is a messaging campaign for students and parents to boost attendance, stressing it’s importance on overall literacy.
He said it drives home the fact that showing up to school benefits students and he outlined how parents and students can ensure they attend class.
Young added that anyone interested in learning more about the program to contact their area school district.
