A Day In Istanbul To Benefit Hospice!

Marquette, MI – August 24, 2026 – Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice is partnering with The Honorable Distillery for a special fundraising event taking place this weekend.

Jamie Barbiere, Community Outreach Director with Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice, and Anne White, owner and operator of The Honorable Distillery, spoke about the event with Mark & walt in the Morning.

Barbiere said this Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29, the “A Day in Istanbul” will feature the sale of authentic Turkish rugs with a portion of the proceeds going to Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice.

White shared the history of the event and explained that there will also be Turkish food and drinks to sample and more to enjoy while you shop.
