Marquette, MI – August 21, 2026 – Marquette Harbor Rotary’s HarborFest is getting set for another year in Marquette and will feature another great weekend of music!
LaJoie said HarborFest is happening next weekend at Mattson Lower Harbor Park and features a wide mix of musical acts ranging from classic rock to country to top-notch tribute bands.
The event runs Thursday, August 27th through Saturday, August 29th at Mattson Lower Harbor Park.
Lajoie said on Thursday, enjoy the sounds of the Palestras, followed by Marquette’s Rockestra. Friday features Gimme Skynyrd, Barenaked ‘90’s and The Blackrocks House Band. Saturday, HarborFest features the Take It Easy tribute band, Groove Candy, Chad Borgen and the Collective and the U.P.’s own Adam Carpenter and the Upper Hand.
Hamari talked about the band he is performing in, The Palestras, and also about the Marquette Rockestra, saying it’s a great way to hear some of Marquette’s top musicians in one night to kick off HarborFest.
Lopac explained that HarborFest is the primary fundraiser for the Marquette Harbor Rotary which funds programs and groups in the county with grants from the monies raised during the event.
