Marquette, MI – August 3, 2026 – A new holiday tradition this Christmas season in Ishpeming is gaining momentum.
Corkin said The Ishpeming Kriskindlmarkt is the first of it’s kind in the U.P., and will be held outside the historic Mather in downtown Ishpeming.
He explained that market is based on long-standing European traditions and will give visitors the chance to enjoy local vendors, festive food, music, lights, and family fun to get into the Christmas spirit.
Corkin said there is currently a call out for sponsors to get involved, and there are now vendor applications available for anyone interested in selling their wares.
