Marquette, MI – July 31, 2026 – The 3rd annual Central Upper Peninsula CISM Donut Dash Presented by the Ben Lauren Memorial Foundation is this Sunday in Marquette. The family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Central U.P. Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
Buruse explained that the CISM team is made up of volunteers who work to promote and foster mental health and recovery for first responders, firefighters and law enforcement and others who are on the front lines of trauma response.
She said the event starts at 10:00 a.m. with a 5K. Participants will meet at the bike path at the corner of Baraga Avenue and Lakeshore Drive in Marquette.
