Marquette, MI – July 27, 2026 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening. The Commission will be holding a primarily administrative session with a relatively short agenda.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the session with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the Commission will be honoring the Sister City delegation from Higashioni, Japan that is currently visiting the city.
She added that the Commission will also be voting to approve the recently-negotiated new union contract for Marquette City Hall employees.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
