Marquette, MI – July 9, 2026 – The Upper Peninsula Regional Labor Federation is hosting a special event this Friday in Marquette for union members to gather and connect in a social setting to learn more about the history of labor unions in the U.P.
UPRLF Executive Vice President DJ Dean spoke about the event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Dean explained that the “Beers and Labor” event is for all card-carrying active union members in the region to come to the American Legion Post 44 in Marquette for a night of history, and solidarity.
Doors open at 5:00pm and union members my bring a spouse or guest. One free drink ticket will be given to union members and food will be catered by Border Grill.
