Marquette, MI – April 17, 2026 – A special evening celebrating the music of the John Prine is coming to benefit Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette. The concert is this Thursday, April 23rd, at 7:00pm at the Auditorium at 611 North Front Street.
Organizer Brian Wallen talked about the event with Mark and Walt in the Morning.
Wallen explained that his group, The Make-Believe Spurs, will be joined by special guests to play well-known John Prine classics as well as some deeper tracks. He added that proceeds raised will go to support Kaufman Auditorium and all of the community arts and music programs held there.
Tickets can be purchased through NMU Ticketing or at the door.
