
Marquette, MI – April 3, 2026 – Patrick Crowley, Marquette County’s current Chief Public Defender, is running for the 96th District Court judgeship.
Crowley spoke about his campaign with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Crowley talked about his background, why he has decided to run for the job and outlined some of his qualifications for the post. He listed what experience he brings to the table for consideration after over two decades of being a practicing attorney.
Crowley also explained that the Marquette County District Court handles criminal cases including misdemeanors, and initial felony hearings, landlord/tenant cases, civil cases under $25,000, as well as traffic court.
