Marquette, MI – March 19, 2026 – Following clean up efforts from this week’s record-setting blizzard, the City of Negaunee is back on track for normal operations.
Heffron said the city’s Department of Public Works crews stepped up and solidly handled the clearing of over three feet of snow that dumped on the city’s streets, alleys and sidewalks during the two-day storm.
He also credited the hard work of both the public works crews and city residents who worked together to clear the snow and get the city up and running.
Heffron added that the latest snowfall amounts bring the city’s overall totals for the season to around 240″ and that the city has launched an investigation intro reports of what he called a “secret cabal of Heikki Lunta dancers” somewhere in the community that he is looking to stop.
