Marquette, MI – March 13, 2026 – Winter weather is impacting travel across the region today. A Winter Storm Warning has been posted by the National Weather Service for the majority of the U.P. that is forecast to bring a mix of heavy snow and high winds.
Whiteout conditions are expected at times as the storm tracks across the U.P. from west to east with double-digit snow totals in many areas and winds gusting up to 40mph. Authorities say widespread blowing snow will affect the morning commutes and power outages are possible.
