Marquette, MI – March 4, 2026 – Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” a musical adapted from the Broadway production and motion picture, will be presented by Superior Arts Youth Theater and the Wildcat Performing Arts Academy at Northern Michigan University this week.
Davis explained the production presents a musical interpretation of the classic “Little Mermaid” story of Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, who wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above the sea.
Voight talked about his role in this production as Sebastian, and how this show compares to the others he has performed in over the years through the SAYT.
Showtimes for “The Little Mermaid” are 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday,March 5-8 with a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday. There will also be a sensory friendly Theatre for All 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday.
