Marquette, MI – February 27, 2026 – On our latest Wildcat Wednesday we heard about the welding program in the College of Technology and Occupational Sciences at Northern Michigan University.
Guckenberg shared his personal history in the field as well as his connection the program as an NMU student who went through it years ago.
He also talked about some of the educational components and various tracks that students interested in studying more about it can take at NMU.
He encouraged anyone interested in learning more about the welding program to visit the program’s website.
