MSU Extension Presenting Annual “Agriculture For Tomorrow” Conference In Escanaba

Marquette, MIFebruary 19, 2026Michigan State University Extension is hosting the 2026 Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference in Escanaba in March.

Dr. James DeDecker, Director of the MSU Upper Peninsula Research & Extension Center, spoke about the event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

DeDecker said the event will take place Thursday, March 12th from 9:00am to 4:00pm ET at the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay College.

He explained that the conference will feature four concurrent educational tracks focused on crops, livestock, local marketing and homesteading.  DeDecker added that the conference is open to the public, and all interested parties are encourage to attend.

Attendees have the option of staying in a single track or floating among the individual sessions/topics.
