Marquette, MI – February 6, 2026 – The annual runnings of the UP 200, Midnight Run and Jackpine 30 sled dog races are happening next week.
U.P. 200 Board President Ross Anthony shared a full update with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Anthony said the trail and weather conditions are looking good and preparations are right on track. He added that volunteers are still needed and the list of open slots can be found at YoopersUnited.com.
He explained that Opening Ceremonies for the UP 200 and the Midnight Run start Friday, February 13, at 6:30pm in downtown Marquette, with the first UP 200 sled dog team out of the gate at 7:00 p.m., with the Midnight Run also starting Downtown at 8:30 p.m.
Anthony said Race Headquarters will open this coming Wednesday be at the Holiday Inn in Marquette and all race information at UP200.org.
