Marquette, MI – December 8, 2025 – The Marquette City Commission has a pair of meetings happening later today. The Commission is holding their annual joint work session with the City Planning Commission at 5:00pm That will be followed by a regular meeting at 6:00.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the sessions with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the regular meeting will focus on some unfinished business related to a proposal that would have opened the Presque Isle Park Pavilion for use by Room At The Inn as an overflow housing shelter.
Both meetings are at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
