Marquette, MI – November 21, 2025 – The Patient and Family Advisory Council at UP Health System-Marquette is currently recruiting members from the community. The council partners with community members, patients and families to guide the UPHS-Marquette health care team on ways to improve the patient and family experience.
Augustyn shared some of the history and the mission of the Patient and Family Advisory Council, and Moilanen talked about why he got involved with the effort as someone in community.
The duo encouraged anyone in the community that is interested in getting involved with the P-FAC to do so. They added that through the unique perspectives of their advisers, UPHS-Marquette can help ensure that every patient who comes to their facilities receives high-quality care.
