Marquette, MI – November 21, 2025 – A series of Holiday events are being hosted by the Marquette Downtown Development Authority starting this weekend in Downtown Marquette.
The DDA’s Michael Bradford spoke about the events with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Bradford said the annual Thanksgiving Farmer’s Market is this Saturday at the Marquette Commons from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
He added that Small Business Saturday will be coming up for holiday shoppers to check out on Saturday, November 29th with specials and events hosted by dozens of downtown businesses.
And Bradford reminded everyone the Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony is Friday, December 5th at 6:00pm on Fair Avenue and will head south down Third Street to the Marquette Commons for the tree lighting at 7:00pm.
