Marquette, MI – November 10, 2025 – November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month and Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice is hosting a series of free community events to spread awareness about how hospice helps and serves individuals and families in our community.
Barbiere said the events range from socially-based activities to informational sessions and more information can be found at their website at LakeSuperiorHospice.org.
Voegtline explained that although hospice care has been a part of medical care options for several decades, people still have misconceptions about what it is and she hopes these events will help to change that.
