Marquette, MI – October 1, 2025 – A program to enable kids to build the strength of character through the game of golf is establishing itself in the Upper Peninsula.
First Tee gets kids to learn how to play golf and learn life lessons and leadership skills to help them to face challenges.
Kenn Hruska, First Tee Area Director, spoke about the program with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Hruska said the program blends the game of golf with a life skills curriculum to build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do.
