Marquette, MI – September 17, 2025 – A collaboration between the Steve Mariucci Family Beacon House and Marquette County Habitat for Humanity will impact patients, families, and the Marquette community.
A land swap agreement between the two entities has allowed Beacon House to purchase one acre of underutilized parking area from the Upper Peninsula Medical Center, which has then been exchanged with Habitat for the parcel of land located directly adjacent to Beacon House.
She explained that the swap gives Beacon House access to the neighboring property for future growth and development, and Habitat will gain land that will allow them to build additional affordable homes for local families in need.
