Superior Health Foundation Continuing With Community Grants

Marquette, MI – September 5, 2025 – The Superior Health Foundation is getting the word out about their latest grant cycles and more.

SHF Program Officer Nicky Bates and Women’s Center Program Director Hannah Holma spoke about the grants with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Bates kicked off our latest Superior Health Foundation “Healthier Together Thursday” segment with an update on their Fall Gala Celebration and then talked about their grant funding and programs they are are supporting.

Holma shared some information about how a particular SHF grant aided The Women’s Center to implement a sexual assault nurse examiner program that trains area nurses. She also shared information about programs and services provided through The Women’s Center.
