
Marquette, MI – September 4, 2025 – The Siril Concert Series at Northern Michigan University is presenting a special evening with the musical husband and wife duo, Deux Saisons, this Friday.
The duo will perform performs a diverse collection of old and new classical repertoire featuring soprano Keri Lee Pierson, and classical guitarist Christopher Schoelen at the Reynolds Recital Hall on campus at at 7:30pm.
The pair are both faculty at NMU’s Department of Music, and they perform works from the Renaissance through the present day.
They explained that their name, Deux Saisons, come from French for “two seasons” and they work to bring classical music to a wide community through diverse venues.
Pierson and Scholen also performed a musical selection live in the studio for a taste of what they bring to their presentations.
