Marquette, MI – August 29, 2025 – Organizers are preparing for the 36th annual Labor Day Festival coming up Monday in Negaunee.
It features a parade, picnic and rally put on by the Marquette Regional Labor Federation at the Jim Thomas Pavilion at the Jackson Mine Park.
Adam Saari with the Labor Federation spoke about the event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Saari shared some history about the event and labor unions in America and invited all union employees to get involved.
He explained that registration for the parade begins at 9:30am, the parade is at 11:00am and the picnic and rally will be from Noon to 4:00pm.
