Marquette, MI – August 27, 2025 – As classes start up for the Fall 2025 semester at Northern Michigan University, thoughts shift into some of the upcoming college sports seasons. One of the prominent sports is Men’s Hockey, and Head Coach Dave Shyiak is moving into his second season at the helm of the team.
Shyiak talked about the makeup of the team, the new recruits, returning players and the team’s schedule of opponents.
He also outlined some of the efforts of the program to increase and enhance their involvement in the community and why it is crucial in building public support for not only Men’s Hockey, but all NMU sports.
