Marquette, MI – August 20, 2025 – To kick off the new season of Wildcat Wednesday, we heard more about activities at Northern Michigan University that are ramping up this week leading up to the start of the school year next week.
Hall said the first day of classes for the Fall semester is this Monday, August 25, and students are returning to campus and the Marquette community.
Residence hall move-in is scheduled this week from Noon to 4:00pm tomorrow and Friday, and the annual Fall Fest, where students can learn about student organizations, volunteer agencies, local businesses and NMU departments, is Monday from 11:00am to 3:00pm on the Northern Center lawn.
Hall also shared other updates including the search for a new University President and the latest with some of the major construction projects on campus.
