Marquette, MI – August 6, 2025 – The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association local chapter 35-1 is holding their 11th Annual Jacobetti Ride for the veterans at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette this weekend.
Members Cookieman and Pa Krack spoke about the annual event today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Cookieman said that all motorcyclists can join in on the ride, which starts at Noon on Saturday, August 9th at the American Legion Post #349 in Little Lake and heads to the Jacobetti Home for a special visit.
Pa Krack added that there is a breakfast being served at the Post to come and enjoy from 9:00am to 11:00am, and registration of the bikes runs from 11:00am to Noon.
Cookie explained that the festivities continue after the stop at the Jacobetti Home. There will be food, a raffle, and other fun to enjoy at Post #349.
They added that there will also be an official U.S. flag retirement ceremony conducted at the Legion Post at dusk.
