Marquette, MI – June 25, 2025 – Outgoing Northern Michigan University President Brock Tessman is saying his goodbyes as he is leaving to serve as President of Montana State University.
Tessman spoke about his time at NMU and his future with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Tessman, who served at helm of NMU for just about two-and-a-half years, shared his thoughts on his time as a Wildcat and explained the reasons for his somewhat unexpected departure.
He also looked back on both success and challenges at the university under his tenure. Tessman began his time as President at NMU on February 1st, 2023 and his final day at NMU will be July 1st.
