Marquette, MI – June 23, 2025 – Northern Michigan University’s Department of Theatre & Dance is presenting “Love Letters” this week at the Forest Roberts Theatre on campus.
Amy Dolan-Malaney spoke about the production with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
She explained that the play was written by by A.R. Gurney and features two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III, and their 50 years of correspondence during their evolving lifelong relationship.
The play stars Dolan-Malaney and Robert Ouellette, both seasoned actors who performed “Love Letters” together in Florida seven years ago. She added that the story reflects the deep closeness of two long-running, complicated friends.
Showtimes are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26 through Saturday, June 28, in Forest Roberts Theatre.
