
Marquette, MI – June 18, 2025 – Lemon Aid, a statewide funding program through the non-profit agency Six Feet Over, is available to assist families and individuals dealing with the aftermath of suicide.
Sam McCullough, Lemon Aid Program Director, spoke about the fund with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
McCullough explained that the program recognizes and understands that suicide loss survivors many times need more than emotional support; they may also need help with housing, insurance, job training, and childcare.
She said the Lemon Aid program seeks to best provide as much financial assistance as they can for each case, along with mental health specialists who can provide support as needed.
McCullough added that suicide loss is a complicated grief and they operate to provide the best support for people through their loss.
