Marquette, MI – May 20, 2025 – The City of Ishpeming is heading into the summer with a series of projects starting to gain steam.
Scholz said some recent state and county funding support has become the catalyst for an effort to begin work to fix up the historic Anderson building in the downtown.
He added that there are continuing water and sewer system updates going on in the city and there will be several streets and roads in the City that will be affected as the work continues through the summer.
Scholz said the City is taking steps to get the word out on projects and related updates in a more timely manner, and the latest information can be found at the City of Ishpeming website and their Facebook page.
