Marquette, MI – April 28, 2025 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening where Commissioners will be voting on advancing a proposal from the Marquette Golf Club to buy some surplus land from the city.
The proposal by the Golf club is to purchase a 14-acre parcel west of Pioneer Road from the City for the development of a new clubhouse.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the proposal with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
