Marquette, MI – April 17, 2025 – UP Health System has released their annual Community Benefit Report. The report outlines the system’s support of both the health and economy of the Upper Peninsula over the course of 2024.
Darner shared some highlights from the report specific to UPHS-Marquette’s efforts to meet the growing healthcare needs of the U.P. by adding and expanding services and updating facilities.
She also discussed other key aspects related to both the health of U.P. residents, and the UPHS impact on the local economy through their three facilities.
Darner also spoke for a few moments about her recently being named to serve as CEO for both the Marquette and Bell hospitals.
