Marquette, MI – April 14, 2025 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs highlighted the agenda with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said Commissioners will be voting on an ordinance establishing limitations on overnight camping or occupation of any public properties in the City.
She added that the Commission will also be awarding the contract for the construction of the new Peg Hirvonen Bandshell at Presque Isle Park.
Kovacs said the Commission will also be discussing developing of a plan to have a year-round off-leash dog recreation park built in the city.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
