Marquette, MI – March 26, 2024 – The Cause for Paws Gala, the 50th Anniversary Fundraiser for UPAWS, the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, is coming soon!
Nic Conroy from UPAWS spoke about the event with Mark & walt in the Morning.
Conroy encouraged all to gather friends and family and join in celebrating UPAWS’ 50th anniversary on Saturday, April 5, from 6-10pm at the Marquette Holiday Inn.
He explained that as a non-profit, UPAWS runs on donations and every dollar raised will go directly into caring for and helping animals find their forever homes.
Conroy said the evening will feature bucket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a live auction and food and drink to enjoy. He reminded listeners that last year’s gala sold out and he encouraged buying tickets now at the UPAWS website.
