
Marquette, MI – March 17, 2025 – The Lake Superior Community Partnership is presenting a series of events this month to network with business professionals in Marquette County and to learn some important community economic information.
Westra highlighted an upcoming Business After Hours on this Wednesday, March 19th and features Team Wireless and Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice at Team Wireless’ Marquette Township location. The event is free and open to the public and runs from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Then later this month, the LSCP presents Breakfast and Business: State of the City of Marquette and State of Marquette County.
Westra explained that it will be on Friday, March 28th at the Holiday Inn in Marquette from 7:30am to 9:00am and features updates from Marquette Mayor Jessica Hanley and Marquette County Board Chair Joseph Derocha. Breakfast is included, and admission is $25 for LSCP Partners and $35 for Non-Partners.
She also gave an update on the LSCP Annual Dinner, Thursday, April 3rd at the Northern Venter at NMU. Westra said it’s an evening of networking, Distinguished Service Awards, food, bucket drawings, a silent auction, and more. The theme is “Built to Last”.
