Marquette, MI – March 4, 2025 – The new incoming Ishpeming City Manager, Randy Scholz, is getting to know the community and is looking to hear from residents and visitors.
Scholz spoke about coming on board as the new City Manager with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Scholz, who was hired by the Ishpeming City Council last December, says he is looking forward to the opportunity to help lead the City of Ishpeming into the future and he is looking to meet with and listen to residents, visitors, service groups and more.
He previously the Administrator of Chippewa County, Wisconsin and is taking over for Craig Cugini, who was fired by the Council in late June.
Scholz will begin his tenure as Ishpeming City Manager on March 17th.
