Marquette, MI – February 13, 2025 – The annual runnings of the UP 200, Midnight Run and Jackpine 30 sled dog races are returning this weekend after a two year hiatus.
Anthony said the trail and weather conditions are looking very good for the races, which have not been run for the last two years due to warm weather and lack of snow cover.
He explained that Opening Ceremonies for the UP 200 and the Midnight Run start Friday at 6:30pm in downtown Marquette, with the first UP 200 sled dog team out of the gate at 7:00 p.m., with the Midnight Run also starting Downtown at 8:30 p.m.
Anthony said Race Headquarters are open at the Holiday Inn in Marquette and all of the pertinent race weekend info can be found at UP200.org.
