Marquette, MI – December 16, 2024 – State Senator Ed McBroom says he’s frustrated by the current “lame duck” session underway in the state legislature in Lansing.
McBroom spoke about the session with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
The Dickinson County Republican says this particular session is unlike any other that he has seen in his career in both the House and Senate.
McBroom says there are dozens of bills that are being put forward in the 11th hour of the legislative session, but leadership on both sides of the aisle is making missteps that make it seem like nothing will get done before the calendar runs out for the year.
