Marquette, MI – December 16, 2024 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening. Commissioners will be acting on a requested tax abatement for a property development project located at 136 West Washington Street.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
The City of Marquette Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is taking public comment about allowing dogs at city playgrounds at their regular meeting later today. The board is considering a proposal by the City to ban dogs at city playgrounds.
Public comment on the proposal is being taken at their meeting coming up today at 5:30 p.m. in the Citizen’s Forum room at Lakeview Arena.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about both meetings today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
