Marquette, MI – December 5, 2024 – Travel across much of the northern half of the U.P. is hazardous this morning due to high winds creating poor visibility.
The National Weather Service office in Negaunee Township says a Winter Storm Warning runs through 7:00 o’clock tonight. Snow will continue across Marquette County today with winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
Roads are snow covered and slippery this morning, and if you are out driving, give yourself extra time to reach your destination safely.
