Marquette, MI – December 4, 2024 – The City of Negaunee has been keeping busy with has been hosting a series of public meetings for updates on the renovation of the Vista Theater, adopting a new economic development strategy and more.
City Manager Nate Heffron shared an update today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Heffron said the Community Input Sessions are giving people the chance to learn more about what is happening to the Vista Theater building and what is proposed.
He also shared information about the City’s new 5-year economic development strategy titled “Forge Your Adventure”.
He said it builds off of the success of the city’s former development strategy called “Moving Forward” and will guide economic development efforts in the city
through several avenues.
Heffron also discussed the upcoming Tinseltown Holiday Celebration, in Downtown Negaunee Saturday, December 14th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The family friendly event officially kicks off the holidays with a Christmas Parade and tree lighting ceremony, downtown holiday caroling and more!
