Marquette, MI – November 26, 2024 – The Negaunee Public Schools are considering the future of their administration building, and may be selling it.
Superintendent Dan Skewis spoke about the future of the building with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Skewis said at their regular School Board meeting held this week, district officials said they taking a hard look at staying in the facility, or selling it and moving their administrative offices to the Negaunee High School.
He said the building has housed the school’s administration for 70 years, and it may be time to move out into more updated facilities.
Skewis added that issue is in the preliminary stages at this point, and there is no timeline in place to come to an immediate solution.
