Marquette, MI – November 1, 2024 – Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz, wife of Minnesota Governor and Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee Tim Walz, recently made a campaign swing through Upper Michigan with stops in Marquette and Escanaba.
Walz discussed the visit and the top issues in the campaign with News Director Walt Lindala.
Walz made comparisons between the U.P. and Minnesota, highlighting the top issues that are facing voters in rural locations around the country.
She explained what the main stances are of the Harris/Walz ticket for rural voters to consider while making their choice in this year’s election.
Walz also talked about the importance of taking part and casting a ballot to ensure everyone’s voice is heard going into November 5th.
