Marquette, MI – October 28, 2024 – Indigenous artists from across the region will gather at Northern Michigan University this Friday to share their perspectives on the arts at the inaugural Indigenous Perspectives Symposium.
LaPorte said the featured speakers and presenters will be discussing film, paintings, music, sculpture, literature and other arts during the day-long event at the Northern Center on campus.
She added that the event is free intended for all to attend and the public is strongly encouraged to take part.
