Marquette, MI – October 28, 2024 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening.
Commissioners will be holding a public hearing on a proposed brownfield redevelopment plan to convert 710 Chippewa Square from commercial to residential use for workforce housing.
Kovacs said the plan is to rezone one of the buildings to allow it to be renovated into a 14-unit complex to increase available housing in the city.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
